Baby dies after 'dad throws her out of window during row'

WARNING – DISTURBING DETAILS: A two-month-old baby has died after her father allegedly threw her through a window during an argument with her mother.

Isabel de Aguilar Loesch fell five metres to the ground and later died in hospital from severe head injuries at just 57 days old.

The incident occurred on May 28 at the family home in the Tabajaras in south-eastern Brazil.

Neighbours told police the girl's parents were having a fight when her 26-year-old dad – who has not been named – threw the infant out of the window.

Her mum, 36, told the police that she does not live with the father and that he was visiting her home to see his daughter.

The mother said she was making rice pudding at the time and went to check the pot, but when she came back, she saw her daughter lying on the street.

The woman's mother told police that when her daughter was pregnant, her partner had punched her in the belly and the pair often argued.

The suspect initially fled the scene but later called the police and said he was sorry and wanted to turn himself in.
