Astronaut forgets to put GoPro SD card in during spacewalk

An astronaut has been left red faced after his astronomical GoPro error during a spacewalk.

The NASA astronaut failed to insert an SD card into his GoPro before his expedition, only realising as he headed outside of the International Space Station last week.

Hilarious footage from aboard the station shows the puzzled space explorer bamboozled over a message appearing on his pocket-sized device before radioing mission control for help.

“Hey, uh, Houston, I gotta ask a question about the GoPro real quick,” he can be heard saying.

“Pushing the button, I see a ‘No SD’. Do I need that to record?

“And if it says ‘No SD,’ what does that mean?”

The astronaut, reportedly Andrew Feustel, is informed the SD card is a necessary component to film before he replies to ground control: “Well, let’s just forget it for now.”
