Australians have taken to Twitter to air their frustrations, after a major bank outage has left them without pay.
ANZ Australia bank has experienced an outage to their internet banking services, leaving Australian employers unable to pay staff with non-ANZ bank accounts.
Removals company Man With A Van tweeted, “Our entire workforce of 135 have not received their wages. Your business banking line is not taking phone calls and we cannot reach our relationship manager.”
@ANZ_AU Is there an issue with your system? Our entire workforce of 135 have not received their wages. Your business banking line is not taking phonecalls and we cannot reach our relationship manager.

Customers said the bank wasn’t taking the outage “seriously”, saying it had been nearly two full days since their workers should have received their pay.
According to DownDetector, the outage is affecting all major states and territories.
“Pays to all non-ANZ accounts have not been transferred,” one user commented on the site. “I called and they said they have had a team working on it since yesterday and hope to have the issue fixed in the next day.”
ANZ has stated it is still looking into the issue.
