Deaf Uber driver's touching note for passengers

A note written by a hearing-impaired Uber driver has touched hearts everywhere after it was posted to Twitter.

London-based Uber driver Onur Kerey is determined not to let his disability get in the way of him doing his job, and leaves a note for his passengers to let them know of his impairment.

"Hi I'm Onur and welcome to my Uber," the note says.

"I'm deaf so if you need something, please text me or when we've stopped you can write it in the notepad to show me.

"You can use the AUX cable to play your own music - if you have anything with a strong bass I will enjoy it too.Thanks for bearing with me and have a great day."

The note was shared on Twitter by @lilghostgirl. It quickly gained attention and now has almost 550,000 likes and over 135,000 retweets.

“Onur you are a good man, I wish you all the best in life,” one user wrote.

“He’s a breath of fresh air,” another said.

“This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen," someone else said.

Mr Kerey even replied to the tweet himself and wrote "Thank you!".
