Woman's sneaky attempt to avoid parking tickets foiled by cops

A woman's audacious attempt to avoid a parking ticket has proven short lived after she was caught red handed by a waiting police officer.

The female motorist in Suzhou, east China, used an ingenious trick as she left her car parked illegally on the side of the road on April 11.

Before she walked away from her red sedan, she placed a fake parking ticket on her window to fool officers that she had already received a punishment for her misdemeanor.

But unknown to her, a police officer was waiting behind her car and filmed the whole incident on his vehicle's dashcam.

As she returned to her vehicle, the woman was given a stern telling off by the police officer and slapped with an undisclosed fine, Chinese news site Knews reported.

And despite getting the date correct, everything else she filled out on the ticket was wrong, according to The Shanghaiist.
