WATCH: Shocking video of motorcyclist doing wheelie across entire bridge

A man has shared a shocking motorbike stunt after he filmed himself performing a wheelie across an entire bridge in Auckland.

The motorcyclist from New Zealand shared the video on Instagram, which he claims is a “world first” doing a wheelie over the “entire Auckland Harbour Bridge”.

He is seen wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and a helmet which appears to have a GoPro camera attached to it as he rides across the bridge with his front wheel in the air.

The video has more than 2,300 views and has caught the attention of New Zealand Police who are less than impressed with the stunt.

Waitemata Police Sergeant Richard Byrne told Yahoo7 police are “very concerned and will be making enquiries”.

“The behaviour of this motorcyclist is extremely dangerous and could potentially have fatal consequences,” he said.

“It shows a complete lack of regard for their own safety and the safety of others.”

New Zealand Transport Authority, which operates the Auckland Harbour Bridge, told the NZ Herald it had video of everyone involved in the stunt and will pass it on to the authorities.

Auckland Transport operations manager Rua Paul said the man’s actions were “reckless and dangerous” and posed a “huge safety risk” to himself and anyone else using the road.
