Life-sized doll stolen from adult shop by burglar wearing stockings on his head

A man has broken into an adult store in Victoria and stolen a doll worth nearly $5000, police say.

Investigators believe a man wearing a balaclava arrived at the South Road, Moorabbin store on Sunday about 6am in a white Ford Transit van.

It’s believed the offender broke in using bolt gutters to get through the fence and a fire hydrant to get into the store.

It’s alleged the offender then stole a life-size doll at 168cm tall. ‘Dorothy’ is valued at $4495.

Police have released photos of a man who they believe can help them with their investigations.

He is described as having a solid build and was wearing a dark coloured jumper with a red stripe across the chest, dark coloured pants and dark coloured casual shoes with white laces.

He was also wearing a pair of stockings over his head.
