'I thought I was being safe': Devastated mother of boy killed in crash 'feels responsible'
The devastated mother of a young Adelaide man killed in a horror smash says she feels responsible for his death.
Her son, Tom Dwyer, died when a motorcycle crashed into the side of her car in Bolivar on Sunday night in an accident that also claimed the motorcyclist's life.
"I was driving that car and I just feel so guilty," Sue Dwyer said.
"I thought I was being safe, I just never saw the bike, I don't know where it came from."
Tom's sister Kelly and friend Nathan were sat in the rear of the vehicle during the Port Wakefield Road crash and tried desperately to resuscitate him.
'To have him go the way that he did is just really hard, he was so young," Kelly said.

His mother said her 24-year-old son was a selfless man who was always the life and soul of the party.
The pair had been living together and were said to share an unbreakable bond.
"I just love him so much, he was the one if I was feeling down he'd say do you want a hug mum?", his emotional mother recalled.
Dwayne Peters, 29, also died after his motorcycle collided with the Dwyer family car in what has been a horrific double tragedy.
