Taxi driver abuses cyclist and runs red light, but who's in the wrong?

A cyclist has captured on camera his confrontation with a Brisbane taxi driver who screamed at him and told him to get off the road.

The cycle-cam footage was taken on the Victoria Bridge heading into the city centre two weeks ago and shows the cab overtake the bike.

A verbal exchange follows with the driver telling the cyclist to to get onto the cycle way and to "get off the f***ing road."

"I've just got you going through a red light as well and you're on camera," he said.

"I know, I don't care, you were waiting for it," the driver responds.

The cyclist then retreats to the footpath and appears to head off into an adjacent park.
