A one-armed woman who lost her arm in a moped accident hasn’t let her missing a limb stop her in the dating world by posting a hilarious Tinder profile.
Lauren, 21, from San Diego, California lost her arm about 12 months ago in the horrific accident.
She told BuzzFeed she lost control of her vehicle, hit a medium strip in the road and collided with a sign, which sliced her right arm off.
Lauren said for a while she “wasn’t okay with the jokes” about her injury but then started telling them herself.
"People don’t see that very often, so a lot of people DM me to tell me it’s really helpful to them, people who are also missing limbs or are disabled,” she said.
The 21-year-old has posted a number of quirky photos on Twitter and Instagram, poking fun at life with one arm.
But it’s her Tinder profile that has received the most attention.
Her occupation is listed as “arms dealer” and she describes herself as “hands down the best catch on tinder”.
“Face 10/10, body 9/10, personality 20/10, arms 1/2,” her profile reads.
Lauren said she wrote the profile while she was drunk and doesn’t remember doing it.
But she woke up to see the world had embraced her with open arms as the Tinder profile went viral on Reddit.

Lauren said she’s “completely comfortable” with people laughing at her profile and hopes making light of her injury will help other amputees.
