'I'm sipping cocktails in Dubai': Aussie prison escapee 'taunts' authorities on Facebook after Bali jailbreak

Prison escapee Shaun Davidson appears to be taunting authorities on Facebook as he enjoys his newfound notoriety.

A Facebook user claiming to be the Perth native posted a bizarre rant in which he claimed “I’m a real life action movie star”, News Corp reports.

"Im (sic) just normal b (sic) there aint (sic) noway (sic) a penetentry (sic) is ever holding me from oz to bali amsterdam to germany you better believe it when i say my life is no lie im (sic) sippn (sic) on this cocktail on the beaches of dubai.”

Shaun Davidson was one of four inmates who dug their way through a 15-metre tunnel that went under Kerobokan's walls last month.

The 33-year-old is still on the run.

The Facebook account, believed to be run by Mr Davidson under the pseudonym Matthew Rageone Ridler, has "checked into" a number of countries since the 33-year-old's escape, including Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands and the UAE, News Corp reports.

It is not known where Mr Davidson actually is.

In another unusual twist to the story, a fan page was started over the weekend named 'Fans Of Shaun Rageone Davidson - Australian escapee'.

It states: "This page is to show support for this all round good guy please post your well wishes to him and share this page show him your support."

Seven News Online has attempted to reach out to Matthew Rageone Ridler on Facebook.
