'Rot in hell': Former bikie and ex-girlfriend found dead on Gold Coast

A notorious criminal and wannabe rock-star has been found dead along with his ex-girlfriend in a Gold Coast apartment.

The deaths are being treated as a murder-suicide, according to the Courier Mail however Queensland police told Yahoo7 on Sunday morning that they were waiting on autopsy results to determine the cause of death.

Former Bandidos bikie member Bronson Ellery, 24, was dubbed the ‘Lizard Man’ by police before he was found dead with his former girlfriend Shelsea Schilling, 21, at a Southport apartment on Friday.

Ellery was known for his heavily tattooed appearance.

He reportedly had turned his back on the bikie gang a few years ago to pursue dreams of becoming a hardcore rockstar – going by the stage name ‘Solitary Son’.

On Saturday Ms Schilling’s mother paid tribute to her “angel” while taking aim at Ellery.

“Bastard had no life, took his and my baby girl. Rott in hell Bronson. Let my angle be safe, (sic)” Bonnie Markwell Mobbs wrote on Facebook while sharing her disbelief.

“I can’t believe my girl is gone, I want to believe it’s not true,” she wrote.

"Shelsea had so much life to give," she said.

"Cut short only turning 21 years old at the end of November."

Ms Mobbs described her daughter as a beautiful soul and had proudly sung her praises online.

Last Wednesday she raised alarm, fearing her daughter’s safety when she was unable to contact her.

Ms Schilling’s younger sister Chloe also took to Facebook to share her sorrow.

She described Ellery as a “monster”: “Rot in hell,” she wrote.
