Hospital volunteer fired after shocking racist rant against young father goes viral
A hospital volunteer's hysterical racial tirade against a man who was taking his daughter to a doctors appointment has gone viral, showing disturbing footage of her screaming and shoving the family out the door.
Isaiah Baskins was chatting to another patient in the family resource centre of the hospital in North Carolina when an elderly volunteer made racial remarks against him and his child and demanded that they leave.
"Before I started recording she called me a n***** and said get my black kids out," he wrote on his YouTube account, sharing the video of the seemingly unprovoked attack.
As the shocking video progresses, the woman gets more and more manic, making a phone call to security and screaming down the line to have the family thrown out.
"Will you come up here and take these people out of here!" she screams.
"I'm not putting up with it!"
The woman, unable to control her anger, comes nose-to-nose with Mr Baskins barking at him to "get out".
She can be seen pushing him out the door despite numerous requests from the young father asking her not to touch him.
After repeatedly asking what the issue is, the woman finally says she can see his underwear and once again orders Mr Baskins - and his grey underwear - out the door.
Mr Baskins posted the video to YouTube last week in an effort to name and shame the staffer, and his efforts have paid off.
After being viewed almost 400,000 times, the woman was relieved of her position at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Centre.
