Video reveals chilling interior of 'ISIS suicide bombing truck'
An Iraqi solider has revealed what it looks like inside an 'Islamic State bombing truck' in a video that shows the last thing a jihadist would see before blowing themselves up.
An unknown man pulls open the boot of the truck and the camera closes in on multiple giant fuel canisters found inside the truck, which was seized in Lake Tharthar, north of Baghdad.
An Iraqi solider appears from behind the cameraman and opens the side door of the 'suicide truck' where more fuel canisters and explosives lay.
The camera pans across to the driver's seat revealing a secret flap door.
As the soldier opens the door, all that remains inside is a bleak, hollow and rusty interior of where a IS fighter would sit.
The video was released by Iraq's special forces in an attempt to reveal the tactics soldiers use to stop jihadists using Suicide Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (SVBEIDs).
The uploader claims the vehicle is an ISIS suicide bombing vehicle although it is unknown exactly how long ago the vehicle was seized.
Just last year, distressing video emerged of a young man sobbing and whimpering as he climbed into a SVBEID for a suicide mission in Syria.
WARNING GRAPHIC: The video shows young fighter Jafar al-Tayyar breaking down in tears before he is placed into an explosive-laden vehicle.
“Jafar, my brother, don’t be afraid. When you are scared, remember Allah,” an Uzbek-speaking militant is heard saying, encouraging him.
