Model girlfriend launched off couch in middle of road in dangerous stunt with prankster boyfriend

A self-professed 'entertainer' widely known for posting videos of himself tormenting his model girlfriend may have just pushed the boundaries of common fun a bit too far.

Shammi and his other half Sarah Reay-Young, from the Gold Coast, are unfortunately well-known for videos showing him breaking eggs on Sarah's head, shoving her into strangers, pushing her into the dirt, and dunking her into a river.

But the latest one has attracted more criticism because Sarah sustained an injury during the prank.

Shammi and his girlfriend have raised both their profiles via their social media accounts.

In his latest offering for his YouTube page, Shammi tells viewers 'so this is what happens when you have a big night and don't invite your boyfriend' as he casually drinks from a McDonald's cup.

The camera then cuts to a rope attached to a couch and he gives it a tug ensuring its on securely.

The next shot sees the couch sitting outside the garage with the rope attached and Sarah can be seen being rudely awoken as Shammi starts to drive the car away, with the couch attached by the rope.

She screams and holds on tightly as the car speeds up down the road.

She can be heard shouting 'stop it, stop it' but as the car swings around a corner the couch hits the kerb and Sarah is seen flying off onto the roadside.

Shammi can be heard saying 's***, s***' and possibly may think he has gone too far, but as he runs towards her he sees that she is ok.

Sarah can be seen writhing around on the grass, clutching her leg which is badly grazed.

The video goes on to show a police man talking to the pair about the incident which was witnessed by neighbours.

"The information we received is from someone who's seen you screaming around the back of a couch being towed by a ute, it was that you were screaming and seemed in distress," the officer tells the couple.

It's certainly not the first time the couple have found themselves in the headlines over controversy that follows their videos.

Prankster or abusive partner?

The internet is divided as to whether Shammi is a hilarious prankster or an abusive boyfriend.
