A bitter young Queensland woman has shared a public advertisement on Facebook to sell her $5000 engagement ring after her fiancé ‘cheated twice’.

Townville’s Caitlyn Wilmen hopes to fund a holiday to Italy after she was reportedly left heartbroken by her partner.

On Monday she shared a photo to a local ‘buy, swap and sell’ page of her 14ct diamond ring.

She said the piece was only 18-months-old and her engagement was even shorter.

'Willing to consider any offers, just like he did,' Miss Wilmen wrote.

'Been Rhodium plated once, fiancé cheated twice. Wanting it sold as soon as possible, taking myself on a trip to Italy.'

Miss Wilmen also shared a photo of the ring’s Michael Hill certificate of authenticity.

Since it was posted, it has been shared over 30,000 times.

Unfortunately she’s yet to have any serious offers to purchase the ring.

She was shocked the post went viral, saying she thought she ‘broke the internet’.
