Candyman's mansion party sparks bushfire

Firefighters were called to a promoted party at the Gold Coast mansion of tobacco tycoon Travers Beynon when a stray firework landed in nearby bushland.

Mr Beynon, who also goes by moniker, The Candyman, is working hard to make his outlandish parties a fixture on the Queensland social scene.

The Free Choice tobacco owner made headlines with this one when authorities were called to dampen a blaze that broke out across a river in bush-land around 8pm.

The exotic themed party, which attracted some 500 revellers, included everything from live crocodiles to a naked woman, professional bondage queen, Harley Peach, who was paid to suspend naked midair for added aesthetic.

Mr Beynon reportedly spent some $500,000 on the bash that Donald Trump, the Kardashians and Hugh Hefner turned down personal invitations to.

The former North Melbourne footballer came under fire earlier this year for posting a photo of his wife on a dog leash to social media.
