A gang of men smashed a car through a Melbourne shopping centre before robbing a stationery store then a jeweler.
The thieves every move inside the Northland Shopping Centre was captured by CCTV, with the joyride in a Toyota Rav-4 taking them throughout the centre around 4.30am Friday morning.
After ramming their way through the wall the gang of four first robbed the stationery store Smiggle. Then they hit jewelers Angus and Coote.
"It was quite daring … couldn't believe it happened this morning when I came to work, police were here, amazing," retail worker Victor Currie told 7News.
They travelled through to food court before exiting near Best and Less.
Police found the burnt-out car only 10-minutes away in Macleod but refuse to say whether it was stolen.
