Theatre 8 set to bring The Odd Couple to life

The hard yards put in rehearsing will soon payoff for Geraldton’s Theatre 8 as their newest show The Odd Couple opens this weekend.

The show, directed by Rebecca Pusey, will debut at the Eighth Street Theatre House this Saturday at 7.30pm.

The storyline will follow the production of The Odd Couple, starring Felix Unger who is kicked out his house by his soon-to-be divorced wife.

Theatre 8 then plays out his journey through the streets of New York before the wacky tale of his new living arrangement with his old friend and the neighbouring sisters.

This performance will even extend into the foyer with it decorated as a New York park and even featuring go-go dancers.

Following the debut Saturday and second Sunday display, the show will also run May 1, 2, 3 and May 8, 9, 10.

Tickets are on sale for $25, concession at $18 and members $22.50 from the Queens Park Theatre.

American-style food platters will also be available during the performances for an extra $5 with ticket purchase.
