Pac-Kerr make Harper's cover

Model Miranda Kerr appears on the cover of an Australian fashion magazine next to the words "meet the Packer dynasty's glamorous new face".

But don't get too excited - the positioning of the two items on Harper's Bazaar's January cover is "pure coincidence", according to editor Kellie Hush.

The "glamorous" new Packer face is not Kerr but Francesca Packer, the daughter of James Packer's sister Gretel.

The younger Packer is profiled in a five-page spread about her coming-out ball in Paris.

Hush said the placing of the words prominently next to Kerr's face was coincidental, following the rumoured relationship between Kerr and James Packer.

Hush said Harper's shot Kerr in August and the Packers in November, and went to print on November 20 - before the Kerr-Packer rumours surfaced.

In the issue, Kerr poses topless in a fashion spread snapped by celebrity photographer Terry Richardson.

The accompanying article does not touch on the alleged partnership between the model and the billionaire.

Hush said the magazine had shot Kerr before news of her break up with Orlando Bloom surfaced, and it had to do a follow-up interview to update the story.

Speaking about their split for the first time, Miranda, who has two-year-old son Flynn with Bloom, insisted to the magazine that she and the Lord of the Rings actor would always love each other.

"It's difficult for anyone to go through a separation, whether it's on a public scale or not. It was important for us long-term to preserve our friendship and the dynamic of being loving parents to Flynn, so we dealt with everything openly and honestly," Kerr said.

"We respect each other and with respect comes understanding. When there's understanding, I guess everything is a little more harmonious. We're still very big parts of each other's lives. There's no reason for us to be anything but a united front. We still love and care for each other deeply."

Kerr added that the main priority for both her and Bloom was the wellbeing of their little boy."Flynn is the most important thing in both our lives. And because we share that bond, we both feel it's important to be united," she said.
