Warne denies kissing Monk

Shane Warne has denied kissing Sophie Monk but the radio DJ says she doesn't lie.

Monk was tricked into admitting she had kissed the former Australian cricketer when being quizzed about her love life by her 2DayFM co-hosts Jules Lund and Merrick Watts on Thursday morning.

But Warne says that's not true and has confirmed he's in a relationship with model Emily Scott.

The spin king was asked about "the kiss" while appearing on the Kyle & Jacki O show on Sydney's Kiis 1065 on Friday morning and seemed staggered by the suggestion.

"I think Sophie mentioned on her radio show that you guys had hooked up," Kyle Sandilands told Warne.

"What," Warne exclaimed.

"No that's not true, we've been friends for ages," Warne said.

Earlier in the interview, Warne spoke of his relationship with model Emily Scott, confirming they are an item.

"Yes Emily is my girlfriend," Warne said.

"She's met my parents, met the children, we hung out in Vegas ... she was fantastic with the children. She's been cool, she's a really cool girl, we are going great."

Since Warne's radio interview, Monk has taken to Twitter to declare she's not a liar.

"My biggest flaw is I don't ever lie," Monk tweeted on Friday.

Monk, who previously dated Cameron Diaz's new boyfriend Benji Madden, then retweeted a cryptic message about lying.

"guyemartin: sophiemonk a wise person once told me "you have to have a good memory to be a lier (sic)."

"Ha that's why I don't GoldFish," Monk wrote in reply.
