Cat target of cruel arrow attack

The RSPCA is investigating the “appalling” shooting of a cat in Armadale.

The two-year-old cat, Tiggar, is expected to make a full recovery after the arrow narrowly missed his organs.

He was found on Wednesday morning near Armadale and Seventh roads.

RSPCA WA chief inspector Amanda Swift said she was concerned with a recent spate in acts of cruelty towards cats.

“In the last two weeks there has been two cats thrown from vehicles and now Tiggar shot with an arrow,” she said.

“It is appalling that any person can deliberately hurt an animal.”
