Burglars killed family dog, stole car

Burglars stole a family's pet Jack Russell from his St James home and then killed the dog and dumped his body several suburbs away.

A WA Police spokeswoman said thieves broke into a home on Burlington Street in St James on June 28.

On that day, some time between 12.30pm and 7pm, they stole several iPads and the victim’s 2007 Holden R8 Clubsport.

During the burglary the offenders also stole the family’s Jack Russell called Jet.
