WA dad left bloodied in vicious road rage attack

WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGE BELOW: A WA father was left bloodied and bruised after he was allegedly head butted by a motorcyclist in a terrifying road rage attack.

Paul, who does not want his surname published, was driving down Pinjarra Road in Mandurah when the alleged attacker rode alongside him and started screaming.

The 50-year-old said he tried to ignore the abuse, but decided to pull over when the motorcyclist started kicking his car.

“I just wanted him to calm down, he didn’t calm down and it was a bit of a cheap shot, the head butt,” Paul said.

Paul said the rider claimed he cut him off, before the confrontation turned violent.

It’s alleged the motorcyclist, still wearing his helmet, head butted Paul, leaving him with a split nose and forehead.

“I blocked all his punches but as I understand he was still wearing his helmet,” Paul said.

“I said to him as he was coming towards me: ‘Look, you were behind a van, I didn’t see you, I didn’t cut you off’.

“I have no idea why he did what he did.”

Police arrested a man a short time later.

No charges have been laid.
