Accompanied by an entourage, Ms Edelsten arrived for court wearing a figure-hugging dress, lace gloves and dark sunglasses.

In May this year she was charged with possessing ecstasy.

On Thursday, police prosecutors dropped the charges.

“What is the truth? Was it ecstasy?” a reporter asked her outside the court afterwards.

“I have no idea,” she responded, “but like I said: I don't condone the use of drugs, I don't use drugs and that's what's been proven today”.

Brynne Edelsten is best known for her marriage to flamboyant businessman Geoffrey Edelsten.

The couple broke up last year.

She was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars and even had her own reality show.

It was a quick trip to Perth for Ms Edelsten, her court appearance was just 60 seconds and this afternoon she flew back to Melbourne.

“I am happy to put this behind me and that the truth has come out,” she said.
