Armed robber nets cash in Sydney

An attendant has been cut with a knife during an armed robbery at a Sydney bottle shop.

The robber entered the Canterbury store shortly before 4pm on Sunday, threatened the attendant and demanded cash before escaping, police said.

The attendant suffered a cut to his shoulder and was treated by ambulance officers before being taken to Canterbury Hospital for further assessment.

The robber was wearing white gloves and a black bandana with a white pattern across his face.
