Bikies charged over shopping mall assault

Three alleged bikies have been arrested over the violent assault of two men outside a popular Canberra shopping mall.

The incident occurred outside Westfield Belconnen on October 4 as the two victims were leaving via the mall's entrance.

ACT police detectives swooped on the three men in separate raids on Thursday following a three week investigation.

They arrested a 35-year-old NSW man, a 26-year-old NSW man and a 27-year-old Canberra man.

All three were charged with affray and participating in a criminal group to cause harm.

They were due to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday.
