Father wants to 'knock out' Nick Kyrgios for partying with his 18-year-old daughter
The father of an 18-year-old pictured partying with Nick Kyrgios said he wants to 'knock out' the tennis 'bad boy' and has grounded his daughter.
After he withdrew from Wimbledon's first round on Monday, Kyrgios was snapped outside a London nightclub arm-in-arm with two young women, including British juniors player Chelsea Samways.
Ms Samways' father Lawrence said he disapproved of his rising star daughter being out all night and has "taken her car away," the Daily Mail reported.
"I had no idea she was going out with Kyrgios. Like all young tennis players, she knows the others on the circuit and she is friends with Monique (Belovukovic) and she knows Kyrgios," he said.
"If Kyrgios was here now I'd knock him out. In fact I'd like to knock him out," Mr Samways said.
Ms Samways and 22-year-old Australian-born Monique Belovukovic were seen with Kyrgios at the Cirque Nightclub, in London's Soho district, on Tuesday morning.
That’s despite the fact the tennis bad boy is believed to still be dating Aussie tennis player Ajla Tomljanovic.
Just days earlier he posted a photo of the pair together courtside on Instagram.
“Miss my lil coach,” he captioned the pic.
But Tomljanovic was nowhere to be seen on Tuesday night and it’s believed she is currently in Australia.
Ms Samways posted a photo to Instagram of herself and Ms Belovukovic strolling down an empty London street afterwards, captioning the picture “Midnight Blues.”
It’s one of many photos circulating of the tennis star in the media, but in the one posted by Ms Belovukovic, Kyrgios has been cropped out.
On her Facebook page, Ms Samways’ relationship status is single and according to the International Tennis Federation's website has a 17-25 win-loss record in career singles tennis.
Australian-born Ms Belovukovic, who claims to live in Nice, France, has a 21-34 win-loss record in singles.
Neither are currently playing at the 2017 Wimbledon championships.
