Teen reveals horrific details of another 'mass groping sex attack' at Swedish festival
A teenage girl has waived anonymity and revealed excruciating details of when she was "molested" by a "mob of foreigners" at a Swedish music festival.
Alexandra Larsson attended the Party in the Park music festival over the weekend when she became a target of a horrific sexual assault, Mail Online reports.
At least 35 girls aged between 12 and 17 were reportedly targeted during while attending the festival that was held in Karlstad, 400km from Stockholm.
Some of the alleged victims told police they were "kissed and groped" in scenes similar to when dozens of women were allegedly assaulted during New Year celebrations in Cologne.
Waiving her right to anonymity, the 17-year-old girl has spoken out because she believes the issue needs to be brought to attention.
Ms Larsson claims she was only at the festival for 20 minutes before someone grabbed her butt before they groped her while she was listening to John de Sohn on Friday night.
"I turned away and said to the group of boys behind us that this was not okay, but I did not know who had done it. After a while, I felt someone running his fingers between my legs touching my genitals," she said.
Ms Larsson said she screamed out "whoever it was - you're a pig!" before she and her friends left the concert.
The young woman said when sh turned around she saw a group of "foreigners" who were about 17 or 18-years-old standing behind her.
"They were probably immigrants. I hate to say it. But it is the truth," she said.
Ms Larsson said she feels powerless and described the ordeal as "creepy" and that it made her "sick."
She told the publication she saw many girls crying in the audience but it broke her heart to see a 14-year-old in tears and "completely destroyed."
"I think that at least hundreds were molested at the festival. There are probably loads of unrecorded incidents," she said.
Police have arrested two males, believed to be aged between 15 and 17, on suspicion of sexual assault, The Sun reports.
It is alleged the two young men are living at a nearby asylum centre for unaccompanied refugee children.
Police understand that a sickening tactic used at festivals is where several males surround a woman so she has nowhere to escape and they then assault her.
The free festival had approximately 20,000 visitors a day from Thursday to Saturday and organisers released a statement, saying they were sorry for those victims who had their experience ruined.
“Together with police, security guards and our security guards, we are working very hard at ‘Party in the Park’ to make it as safe as possible," the statement read according to the publication.
