Homeless people ‘firebombed’ by masked attacker
Police have released security video showing sleeping homeless people being firebombed by Molotov cocktails in Sydney back in February.
Two petrol bombs were thrown by a masked attacker at Tom Uren Place, Woolloomooloo on the corner of Cathedral and Bourke streets, an area where many of Sydney's homeless gather to sleep at night.
A third lit Molotov cocktail was thrown in the same area about 1.10pm the following day.
Nobody was hurt but police are keen for help tracking down the offender.
Police have released CCTV of the incident and are hoping members of the local community may be able to assist in the identification of those depicted in the footage.
Anyone with information about this incident that may be able to assist Kings Cross Detectives should contact them via Crime Stoppers.
