Balcony collapses at Dunedin concert, up to 20 injured
A balcony has collapsed during a concert by Kiwi band Six60 in a student area of Dunedin.
Eight people have been seriously injured and six have minor to moderate injuries after a balcony collapsed during a concert by Kiwi band Six60 in a student area of Dunedin.
St John ambulance says it's a developing situation and it's taking the eight people with serious injuries to Dunedin Hospital.
"Little shocked that @SIX60 continued to play tonight after a balcony at their gig collapsed. People are seriously injured!!," one person tweeted.
Hundreds of fans have turned up for the gig and many on balconies on surrounding properties in photographs on twitter.
