Deadly, slithering brown snake stuns unsuspecting Gold Coast resident
A Gold Coast man was left stunned and shaken when a brown snake slithered under his chair over the weekend.
The Pacific Pines resident managed to capture the nail-biting footage on his home surveillance cameras.
The vision shows the terrifying moment the snake appears merely metres from the unidentified man who was casually relaxing on his back patio at the time of the incident.
The footage shows the snake silently slithering directly towards the unsuspecting male during the 19 second clip.
The man’s brave dog manages to alert his owner to the impending danger.
Once aware of the potentially deadly situation the man can be seen jumping out of his chair and taking himself and his beloved pooch to safety.
