Quick-thinking hero cop saves girl from jumping off rooftop ledge
Heart-stopping video shows how a police officer's fast actions saved the life of a girl, preventing her from falling to her death.
The harrowing clip shows a girl, who appears to be in her teens, standing on the edge of a high rise building rooftop.
The officer can be seen crouching on the ledge beside her as a crowd of people watch on from the balcony below and sirens ring out.
While the girl is momentarily distracted by looking down at the road below the officer quickly reaches over and snatches her hand, pulling her away from the ledge.
The couple tumble into the crowd who have gathered below, amid cheers and whistles ring out.
It is not known when the incident happened, but the video was shared to LiveLeak on Friday with the North African country of Tunisa tagged as the location.
