A would-be purse thief met his match when the victim of his crime fought back – jumping on him and restraining him until help arrived.
CCTV captured the moment the unidentified male entered a fast-food restaurant in Las Vegas and sneakily grabbed the woman’s purse when he thought she wasn’t looking.
His pick-pocketing moves weren’t sly enough, and the woman runs after the alleged thief, pulling him to the ground and jumping on his back.
Another customer comes running over and helps the woman retrieve her purse before ordering the suspect to leave the restaurant.
Las Vegas Metro police released the footage with a description of the man, appealing for public assistance.
They believe the man may have been involved in other theft-related crimes in the vicinity.
