Woman walks away unharmed after truck crushes car

A woman has remarkably walked away unharmed after her car was crushed by a truck.

Her husband watched on in horror as the incident unfolded in Sydney’s west.

The woman was driving to a birthday party when the trip took a horrible turn as a truck sped past and fell on its side as she was stopped at traffic lights.

Witnesses rushed to the woman’s rescue.

“She was really distraught when we got here and pulled her out of the car she was very, very scared,” Witness Pauly Danilidis told 7 News.

CCTV of the rollover shows the truck losing control on Newbridge Rd Moorebank, before it flipped.

The woman’s husband recognised his wife’s car as he drove past.

“I started to get a bit panicky that I’ve lost my wife,” Peter McGrath told 7 News.

Remarkably she walked away with minor injuries.

“Fortunately she’s physically OK, but she’s really traumatised by the whole thing,” he said.

The incident comes one day after a pilot was lucky to walk away unharmed from a fiery plane crash near Goulburn
