Video shows Islamic State trucks, property destroyed in airstrikes
A video released by the Iraqi Ministry of Defence shows Islamic State trucks and personnel being destroyed by a series of air strikes.
The black and white footage shows a convey of trucks moving slowly down a road.
A dark object can be seen falling towards the first vehicle, exploding on impact and blacking out the screen.
The footage also shows two other locations being hit with airstrikes, erupting with similar force.
The video was released after suicide attacks claimed the lives of at least 12 Iraqi soliders who were completing training at a military base near the city of Tikrit on Sunday.
"Under the cover of fog, they broke into Speicher," paramilitary taskforce spokesman Mahmud al-Sorchi said.
"Nineveh police managed to kill seven attackers but three were able to detonate their suicide vests."
A further 20 policemen were wounded in the attack, which was claimed by IS.
The battle for control of the city of Ramadi in central Iraq has reportedly caused a number of attacks from Islamic State jihadists, after Iraqi troops recaptured the city last week.
