Legendary Spanish rocker Yosi Dominguez, 67, ended up in hospital after he attempted to crowd surf at a recent concert however the audience parted and the singer painfully hit the deck.

Instead of being met with the supportive hands of adoring fans Dominguez falls face-first onto the floor disappearing into the crowd.

Stunned audience members can be seen in the footage visibly shocked by the failed stunt.

The rocker then can be seen standing up in front of fans trying to catch his breath holding his hands up to the crowd in what appears to be part apology and part humiliation.

He then appears to collapse dramatically into the arms of a nearby aide before being led away.

Immediately following the incident his fellow band members appear to share a joke and continued carrying on playing seemingly accustomed to nearly 40 years of the rockers antics.

Dominguez was rushed to hospital with pain in his thigh, however, a fracture was ruled out according to Ideal.

The accident occurred in Pontevedra, north west Spain.
