Five accused over body in boot

Two more people have been charged with murdering Seville Grove father Travis Mills, who was found in the boot of his burnt-out car six weeks ago.

A 48-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, both from Hamilton Hill, were charged with murder overnight, bringing the number of accused to five.

Yesterday Seleena Monique Ruthsalz, 25, appeared in Perth Magistrate's Court accused of murdering her partner, Mr Mills.

Darryl Raymond Newton, 47, from Yangebup, and Ms Ruthsalz's mother, 44-year-old Spearwood woman Joanne Christine Ruthsalz, also faced court charged with murder earlier in the day.

The trio were not required to enter pleas and were all remanded in custody to appear in Stirling Gardens Magistrate’s Court on May 27.

The latest two people charged are due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.

Mr Mills was found dead on his daughter Ruby’s first birthday on April 3 and police allege he was killed the previous night, just hours after he finished putting together a trampoline he had bought her as a present.

Authorities found the scaffolder’s body in the boot of his green 2010 Ford Falcon XR6 sedan dumped in a new Armadale housing development, about 7km from his Poad Street home.
