Three people have died on WA roads in another grim weekend for the State's road toll.

A serious crash at Wicherina, 45km east of Geraldton on Geraldton-Mt Magnet Road, claimed the lives of a man and a woman aged in their 50s.

Police believed that some time in the late evening of Saturday thier Toyota Landcruiser was travelling along the Wicherina South Road.

"The car left the road and rolled," a police spokeswoman said.

"Both the man and woman, who were the only occupants of the vehicle, were discovered deceased at the scene this morning at around 8am by a member of the public."

In Bayswater around 8.40am this morning, a 76-year-old East Cannington woman was killed on Garratt Road near Williamson Street, Bayswater, when the Datsun 120Y she was a passenger in hit a power pole.

Police say the male driver, also 76 and of East Cannington, crossed to the wrong side of the road before hitting the pole.
