Police are investigating an unprovoked king-hit on a 15-year-old girl in Perth’s CBD on Monday afternoon.

The girl was with friends outside the Hungry Jack’s restaurant on William Street when she was approached by group of teenage girls.

In a video posted to Facebook, which has received more than 115,000 views, the girl received a violent blow to her head, resulting in her slamming into a glass window and falling to the ground.

The 15-year-old then gets up and tries to fight back, with the original offender repeatedly hitting her again.

A boy tries to break the fight and eventually the group of girls walk away.

The victim’s mother said she has taught her daughter to defend herself to avoid further serious injury.

The girl responsible for the attack faces a potential charge of common assault.

The attack comes after two other videos of teenagers fighting in the Perth CBD have garnered tens of thousands of views online.
