MANEA Senior College is celebrating another great year for ATAR students with more than 16 students from the Bunbury high school receiving a score of more than 90.

Nicholas Lawler and Leone Van Wyk, both 17, were the two top scoring students with scores of 99.05 and 99.65.

Manea Senior College curriculum manager Simon Cox was happy with the overall performance of the 80 students who had done ATAR at the school this year.

"It was one of our best years," he said.

"We had some good results across the board.

"The biggest highlight was the fact that 16 students received a score of above 90."

Leone, who is going to study civil engineering at the Australian Defence Force Academy, said she was "really happy" with her score.

"I was hoping for a score of 95 or above," she said.

"My strongest subject was maths, I think that ended up being my highest score."

Nicholas, who received the highest score of 99.65, was DUX for Year 12 and received top score in four of his five subjects.

"I am going to UWA to study a Bachelor of Philosophy, majoring in engineering and physics," he said.

"I was hoping for a score of more than 99, I was doing fairly well so I hoped it would continue into the exams."
