New South Wales
Fine and mostly sunny over the next few days apart from isolated showers about the coastal fringe.

Showers and storms building over the northeast corner Thursday and Friday. A dry weekend ahead.


Queensland
A mainly dry week ahead and no sign of extreme heat.

A trough is expected to drive scattered showers and thunderstorms over the southeast corner of the state tomorrow and Wednesday with most areas picking up 25 to 50mm of rain.

A secondary trough may bring some showers and thunderstorms to southern and western border areas later in the week.


Victoria
A generally dry week ahead following some very useful soaking rain across the weekend. Temperatures close to average, no sign of temperature extremes.

A few showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely Thursday as a trough slips through.

Tasmania
Cool. A showery week ahead for the west.

Dry elsewhere apart from a few showers and isolated thunderstorms in the north during Thursday.




South Australia
A dry week ahead apart from thundery showers sweeping across the state Wednesday and Thursday.

Maximum temperatures within the median for the week.

Western Australia
Scattered showers and thunderstorms in the east for most of the week.

Cool to mild in the south. Warmer northwards.
