Indigenous groups say they've been locked out of hall ahead of G20

Groups of Indigenous Australians claim they were locked out of a hall in South Brisbane on Friday, ahead of the G20.

They say last night someone cleared out all the Indigenous records and artwork.

A Brisbane City Council lock now stands in the way of the groups gaining entry to the space.

Australian Aboriginal activist, Sam Watson, says it's part of a move to 'ethnically cleanse' the CBD ahead of next week's summit.

But Council says parties were advised of the closure in August and that it's because of asbestos removal and refurbishment to the building.
