Corniol wows crowd

Last Wednesday night saw some extraordinary moments at the Nickol Bay Hockey Association.

Instead of jumping straight into a game, members chose to spend the majority of the night sharpening their skills. This included perfecting techniques such as tackling, dribbling, passing, goal scoring and team work.

A spectacular improvement was seen from Lloyd Corniol, who scored a magnificent goal from halfway across the field.

Once the skills had been perfected, it was time for a game.

Although a short game, it demonstrated all the excitement of a full-length game.

Stand-out players included Sharns Brown.

Hockey is held at the Bulgarra tennis courts every Wednesday at 4.30pm for juniors and 6.30pm for seniors.
