CCC probe claims another scalp

An investigation into alleged misconduct within the Corruption and Crime Commission has claimed another scalp.

The commission confirmed yesterday a second staff member had resigned. Six staff have now left since the internal probe into the misappropriation of funds began late last year. Three staff were sacked and another did not have his contract renewed.

A separate police investigation into the matter is continuing, with criminal charges possible.

The commission said last year the misappropriation related to $1000.
