Seaview Downs home destroyed by fire

A deliberately lit fire has destroyed a home at Seaview Downs, in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

Fire crews were called to the home on Wangary Tce just after 1am to find the building fully ablaze.

The blaze destroyed the building, with damage estimated at $200,000.

There was no one in the home at the time of the fire, despite initial fears up to five people may have been inside.

It took crews about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.
