Man arrested in the most fitting shirt

21-year-old Ross McMakin of Corvallis, Oregon had had too much to drink this past Sunday. His girlfriend, wishing to be responsible, told him that she would drive.

However, her lack of experience of driving cars with manual transmissions prevented them from getting their move on, so they forgot about the whole being responsible thing and McMakin got behind the wheel of the car. As KEZI 9 News reports, his T-shirt was all too fitting.

Yes, he was actually wearing a “Drunk as s***” t-shirt. Corvallis Police told the station that, according to McMakin’s girlfriend, he proceeded to drive on a sidewalk, hit a parked car, and drive in the wrong lane. He then parked.

When his girlfriend took away his keys, McMakin allegedly assaulted her. KEZI writes that, “McMakin is facing multiple charges including strangulation, DUII (driving under the influence of intoxicants), reckless driving, reckless endangerment, and harassment.”

I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch for me to say that McMakin’s girlfriend can do better.
