Nigerian arrest soon
Nigerian police say they will soon arrest the man believed to have conned a 67-year-old WA woman who was found dead in a South African villa in February.
It comes as WA Police's major fraud squad and the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission signed a memorandum of understanding for greater collaboration.
Nigerian police commissioner Ibrahim Lamorde, who is in WA for the signing, said they knew where the man who scammed Wagin great-grandmother Jette Jacobs out of $80,000 was hiding and they hoped to arrest him within weeks.
