Break-in tools left behind as man flees tavern
Police are looking for a man who attempted to break into the Shoalwater Tavern in the early hours of this morning.
A member of the public spotted the man breaking into the tavern at 12.40am and called police.
The man had fled the scene by the time police arrived but left equipment he was using for the break-in behind.
He was described as being 177cm tall, of slim build, wearing track pants and a sweat shirt.
He did not get into the premises but police said he had made a “good start” on a burglary.
Despite and extensive search, police could not find the man.
