$2m Lotto winner still to come forward

A lottery ticket sold in Kwinana has created the State’s latest Lotto millionaire.

The $2 million Division 1 Lotto ticket from the weekend’s Saturday draw was sold at the Kwinana Hub Lottery Centre and News – their third winning ticket since July.

Owner of The Kwinana Hub Lottery Centre and News, Peter Andersson, said that he is happy the outlet has had another Division 1 Lotto winner and puts the run of good luck down to just that - luck.

"We’re very excited - it’s great to sell another Division 1 winning ticket," Mr Andersson said.

"This is the biggest win the outlet has had, not to mention the run of luck we are having at the moment.

"We don’t have too many lucky charms, we just hope for the best and let luck play its part. Obviously this is working," Mr Andersson said.

Lotterywest is still waiting to hear from the owner of the winning ticket.

He was today (Fri) still being quizzed by detectives over the shooting of Marcus Smith, 19, during the second break-in at his property in less than 10 hours.
